So I've gotten the basic low poly down for my walking stick, its at 853 tris right now, so I still have some room to work with. any suggestions for where i could use more detail or add more equipment?

Nice walking stick! I like the idea of him spying behind enemy lines.

I think that you should use some of those extra polys to define the legs better. Some of the leg segments should be thicker than others (depending on species), and the joints could use a more segmented look, imho.

Also, you'll want a few more segments in the tail if you ever pose him.

thanks your right, the legs were really the main place i was lookin at adding more polys, im not sure about the tail section though because I don't know how much that actually moves in real life, ill look into it though. good advice

The walking stick's long body and good camo would lend itself well to a stealth supply train type role or and engineer type creature (mobile bridge for the win) It seems weird to me to have him as recon as they dont move very fast...

well my main reason for pickin spy/recon was that he could sneak in behind enemy lines and spy undetected because of his camo
