That's a great idea applesig, that scalpel should fit quite good.
The way i planned this with the syringe is that the whole back body (abdomen?) is filled with some red fluid, like health packs in games always are. So the back body would be transparentish with something red inside. That's of course where the fluid for the syringe will be coming from then. |

My idea for the one "hand" would be to split the front part of the claw into two fingers, kind of like a crab's claw. The two fingers can grip things between them, but when they are together, they look and function just like the normal mantis claw.
Hopefully the pic will get the idea across. Just a suggestion, of course. ![]() |

and yes i am using 3dsmaxHmm, well this is just the high poly base so a wireframe at this point would just be lots and lots of lines crossing each other, making one mess. But if you really want one i can post it. A really small update, started playing around with the left arm: ![]() |
