Competition #13 - Atius

ok so i made my concept in like half an hour (for the fighter), modeling was done in almost 4 hours, and the texturing (difuse, illumination specular+bump) was done in almost 3 days (due to lack of inspiration)

the model is around 1081 triangles (594 polys)

Very dark renders, can't see much... Please change your background color to something like dark grey and put some more lights in your render.
And what textursize do you use ?

oh and the textures are being resized to 1024x1024x2 (for each section of the ship)

That figher is very nice! You should definitely angle the wings back slightly though. I like how it arks downwards on the side view, nice touch. When you say "the textures are being resized to 1024x1024x2 (for each section of the ship)" what exactly do you mean as your only allowed a 1024x512 + 512x512 textures for both models. The textures look a bit blurry for a 1024 ...

Looking forward to see your texturing on the mothership, hopefully you'll follow the same style!

Mothership looks sweet. Along the way try to think in reusable parts so that you can increase the resolution of your final piece.

modified and textured the mothership (1024x1024 difuse, normal, illumination and specular.Counting 3593 triangles for now... any ideeas of improvement to it?
