Yep All that can be seen from the mother ship is the white text. The render you made before was a lot better. Well... live and learn, right?

Definitly man, I made my first model september of 2007 and my first real texture for this competition.
So I didnt expect anything from this in terms of a cool final product. Although I have learned a lot of lessons through this competition.

One of the things I have decided to do as a result of this cometition (and because I have been looking at what studios require) is develop my drawing skills.
Also because of this competition I have been hired for a mod where I am learning a whole lot too.

There are so many things I still want to learn - and even more I want to perfect.
My most resent try at learning something new is baking normal maps from high poly models (using your tutorial )

And I'm Zbrushing a Tyrannosaur as well.

Thanks man. I've done most of the high poly modeling in 3dsmax actually, but discovered Zbrush when it was well on its way. I'm sure the model will be torn apart for horrible edgeloops and poly distributions if the low poly model was posted, but I like it non the less. I think it will stay as a high poly model for good as I have done some heavy changes since the low poly mesh, and trying to redo the changes on the low-poly model wont be all that fun.

it was my very first try at organic modeling and has gone through roughly 4 complete makeovers so far (as I have gotten better).
