Competition #13 - Laughing_bun

Okie dokie so about 2 mins after the competition was posted i started working on this. at first i liked it now im kinda unsure. Basically its like a space glider sorta thing. The small ship acts almost like the tailwing of it. Then it can use the mothership as a runway and boost off into space. Anything comments and crits would bu mucho appreciated.

I think it looks pretty awesome. To help distinguish the mothership from the babyships a little more, maybe you could add antennae or docking hooks on the side or something. It sort of feels like they're very similar, and something sticking out from the otherwise long, skinny body of the main ship would definitely set it apart. It's your call though since I can understand wanting to keep them alike.

Looks cool m8. They definitly share the same style. Maybe a bit to blocky for my taste, but this is your first scetch for this, so i assume it'll have some updates anyway...

Good luck

took me a while to figure out that it sits on the back of the main ship, a nice idea

I like the colour scheme

Yo BUN,

I'm really liking this concept. Call me crazy but it reminds me of the "pulse rifle " from the Aliens movie. I like the color palette as well. Having the baby ship attach where it does to the mothership makes sense because there does not seem to be any additional drag, although my "space aeronautics" are a little rusty...lol. Overall, it's a clean, solid design. If this was just a first pass, then I'm scared to see what you can do with some time and a little thoughtful planning. Wow! Your setting the bar high and we are only in the concept stage! I'll be watching you man.GL.

I really like the design of the cockpit, as well as the shape of the front. Good job.

I like where this is going. The mothership seems like a bigger version of the sistership, I think you can make it feel more massive by making the cockpit window smaller on the mothership. Also, I'd like to recommend that you deform the shape of the sistership so that it's not identical to the mothership. Strike the balance between style consistency and unique differences in shape.

I also like where this is going but as previously mentioned it looks a little blocky. i would try to curve thing out I would also try to change the mother ship just a little so it does not look to much like the baby ship :P
