Competition #12 - ReK0

So I started mine but I mistook Polygons for triangles so Im over my limit but a bit. Need to work on lowering it but I thought Ide post my progress. Its an old fasioned gas pump prop.

Thank you for the offer but my pal simon helped me optimize. I have to fix swome of the UVmaps but here is a shot of the high poly so far.

Ooh, that looks really nice. Straight out of Fallout 3 really. I think it could use more color variation/splotchyness near the top part of the red stuff, like it has near the bottom.

What I think looks odd is that the rust on the sides appear to have been running horizontally with no vertical effect at all. Other than that, I love it.

Nice work, I really enjoy the red-white color combination. Very stylized and a little busy, but by all means will do well in this competition
