It doesn't work well. I'm not sure what is it but it's something that makes it confusing. Play with it a little more, maybe you find a better way to make your model stand out.

Import it into one of those UE3 levels (if at all possible yet ), looks great otherwise though, nice going !

It's not bad. It can use a little border and some text: comp, entry name... your name.

Nice work, although you could've added a bit more polies on the top of the lamp, looks really hard compared to the rest wich is very nice.

alltogether well done.

final composition ... continue

hi. ive decided to prepare it in resolution 400x800. its because that object is more higher and pushing it into 800x600 resolution imho seems looking unnatural for high and tight object. does anybody knows is that resolution allowed to use for final work?
additionaly i've change bacground perspective a bit and looking to be more neutral.

re: tores
ive use 1000poly for that object, so using additional poly is over the poly-budget. of course i could find more poly reducing it in somewhere else but i did it before and i think it is needed everywgere . but thx.

what do you think about that composition and resolution?

greetings
greg

two words: that's it.
change your resolution to 600X800 and i think you're good to go.

Your final render's resolution must be either 800X600 or 600X800

Love your piece, second best in the comp... cos first is mine

Nice. I like the combination of 3d and art BG.
