Competition #12 - DeathChronx

For now I'm just saving my spot in this competition, my idea is some like a futuristic barricade, scary stuff! I've already got a sketch of it, just too lazy to plug in my scanner, etc. etc. So I'll have something up perhaps later today! ^_^

*Edit*

Finally I got the time to work on this and here's what I've done so far. @_@

I'm really not used to working low poly modeling. So all of this will be a learning experience for me. Especially the texturing!! I'm trying to work on textures right now, and it's giving me a headache! ARGH!!

Okay here's what I've got so far, preparing for texturing, I know that all the squares are supposed to be somewhat equally sized, I know at lease @_@ So, I've got some work to do!

If it's giving you a headache, try using a checkerboard pattern with a smooth blue and green instead of black and white. Kidding about the headache but it is lighter on the eyes.

At first sight from this angle it looked like a face lol. But I think I get it now.

On the inner side of the pillars, it's all black. Have you uvmapped this yet or does it actually have so little texture space that it all fits on one black square on your checkerboard pattern? Just wondering.

Keep it up!
