Competition #12 - Blunkka
Hi,
Almost ready with the modeling stage. Need to tweak minor architecture and add smoothing groups. Might also add a handle if I can afford it. Here's the model, polycount and one of my refs. ![]() Last edited by Blunkka; 27-09-2007 at 06:49 AM. |

Looks like a decent start, a few crits;
You've modeled the hinges on the door but not the door handle (which is a more prominent feature). The door is almost always directly opposite the phone's wall, whereas yours is at the side. I agree that it's looking a little squashed and quite roomy for a phonebox. Try pulling the walls in a little and making it slightly taller. And tweaking it's base/plinth in a little, too. |

From the amount of wear and tear, i feel that there would be more dirt at the bottom of the model than top because of rain and moss. It would also improve the overall appearance. I think the roof color needs to be changed. Would like to see the diffuse and normal texture.
