Competition #12 - ZombiBubonik

This is my spot! Everyone else go home!

Anyway I'll post something as soon as I decide which one to do. I've already started a few different ideas, am I allowed to post a bunch of different ones and get people's reactions I do I have to decide what I'm doing before posting any pictures?

You can post different ideas. The only restriction is that you must submit only one at the end, even if you make more models.

Ah thanks for that. Here are some concept sketches of different ideas to tide you over before I start working on one in earnest.

I finally decided, my piece is the future of rubbish bins; street incinerators! Here are some WiP shots:
WiP clay render
WiP wireframe

I have plenty of tris to spare at the moment, so unless something in the future drastically blows them out I might add more sides to the exhaust pipes (they're 8 at the moment). I'm also thinking of maybe making the main body round rather than square.

C&C is welcome, as well as suggestions of things to add.

I hate to be the bearer of double posts, but here's an update, adding a door to the hatch and exhaust funnels for the burny-ness

I think I'm nearing finishing, and only about 650 tris used...

I'm judging by the silence on the suggestion front that everyone loves my entry and is dumbstruck by it's greatness, here's what will be the final model, unless someone offers any ideas.

The rectangle under the hatch is for advertisements.

If you still have polies left you might want to consider adding them to the large pipes on either side. They could probably benefit from another loop or two.

Point taken, changed it and fixed a minor error with the mid-level exhausts

Current tri count is 990 so I think this'll have to do. I guess I'll have to start unwrapping it now, this is gonna hurt, I've never done texturing before...

EDIT: Oh, and just to clarify, am I only allowed to use one diffuse map for the whole thing?

Just so you guys know, I'm still working on this, adding to the diffuse map in bits and pieces. Like I said, it's my first time texturing so it's been slow going.
