Competition #11 - Nokor
First competition here, and its a nice one to work on for my portfolio. I've finished modelling, and am unwrapping as we speak - Hoping to get it textured before the deadline on Sunday.
Its a communications/spy building, to intercept enemy build queues and unit orders. I started off wanting to have the C&C3 theme and style in the model: Whether that is evident, i'm not 100%, but i want to get the texture created in that sort of style. ![]() ![]() |

Looks awesome! I'm not sure exactly what the tower's going to be but I like it. If you wanted to go for a really sci-fi look, you could add some alpha-mapped planes coming out from the three dishes towards that spiky thing and add some sort of energy discharge or radio waves or something.

Got bogged down in RL, so i wasn't able to finish in time for the deadline which was a shame
![]() But i made an effort to get it done a few days ago for portfolio work, and with a studio asking to see more work. I ditched the idea of going for the C&C3 style like i had planned, but i'm definitely happy with how it came out in the end. Heres a few images of the presentation sheets i made.
