Finaly made a start on my entry, first time in a month I have had a chance to sit behind my computer to build something. Sucks! Well I have a few pages of concept and sketches and a quick render of what has been built so far. Still room for a few more details here and there as well so C+C welcome.

I have made a pretty decent start on the texture now, been working on it for a good few hours today, but i'm sorry to say I dont think it will be finished in time. I have a few hours to work on it tomorrow but I'm then going away for the weekend and will miss the deadline.

I'll carry on working on it though. Should look quite nice in my folio.

I'm going to get rid of the mirroring damage around the "rim" of the landing pad, I thought it would stand out a little much but I wasnt sure untill I churned out some renders.

I dont like the size of everything, I think the tower is a tad small in comparison to the crates and wire.

Other than that, its looking pretty spiffy. Is the wire just an alpha map?
