Competition #11 - nkoste
Just saw this one today, but I'm in for sure. Nothing final yet, but my first thought was to do a metropolis structure which serves as a main structure, the one that creates workers and basic technology upgrades, that sort of stuff.

![]() Ok my decision is made. I'll be doing the troglodyte/murloc capital which is and elevated city made from scavenged raw materials, like clay and wood and with a thick layer of fungi and moss growing over it. The style will be similar to Armies of Exigo. I'm not that familar with the game, but it's the style I've chosen. Here are some quick sketches. I'll be trying to do a more detailed one tomorrow. ![]() Images of AoE. AoE incorporates underground tunnels in their maps and I'd like to do a structure that could be both above or below ground. So my concept of the murloc capital is ready. I added lots of stuff and I'm happy with it.
I'm not going to do normals tkaza, just plain hand-painted texturing, but you're right it could be good. I'm just not good at it, so I think I'll chose a simpler project when I start learning ![]() ![]() Last edited by nkoste; 15-08-2007 at 04:51 PM. |
