Competition #11 - Armanguy
Hey guys hows it going imma give this comp a go i need to do something on the side while i finish up the sweet tooth model, anyways staying with the twisted metal theme a little heres a gas station the whole thing is 1040 polies, i got some left i was thinking about using it for the letter on top witch i was just gonna alpha map in, but i might just model them in because i got almost 500 polies to waste :P and that before optimizing it. anyway's crit this bastard :P and i would like any ideas for the gas station name? i need it so that the name does not have any rounded letters like (ex: LEVEL) is a good format straight lines but (ex: CRUISE) is not to many rounded letters. thanks.

it looks good so far, and its got a nice 50's theme, that's really awesome.
as fora name, considering the 50's theme id says something like "Luke's" or "Hank's" maybe add the term gas after them too offcorse.. there's allot of S's and an "a" int here so its kinda tricky, but i think it would fit very well ![]() |

Dont have much time to post but here is some quick suggestions.
1. Trim out everything. Short concrete footer along the bottom of the building. Top edge trim where the roofing meets the walls. 2. move those pumps in slighty. Who likes getting wet when pumping gas? 3. Roof of the awning looks pretty thick for brick. Maybe a bit thiner for the stone/brick work and another material as well. Good luck! |
