Ooow looks difrent,
Some bits look abit strange though, such as i guess your going with a rusty feel.
The sandbags are too clean comapred to the rest of the model.
Seems abit to reflective as it is so rusty. But i defeinatly like this idea alot!

ah i like the new direction man, though can't say I didn't like the old one as well.

I dont really get the feel of what it's supposed to be though... perhaps have something to show it is a scrap usage facility...

looking great though.

It might be my moniter but some things look like they're floating with a black base there... but I do like it, maybe put some anteni on top of the building? futuristic buildings always have anteni on them

it's a bit hard to see what's going on at the moment, try rendering it with a non-black background. it swallows up so many of the details.

the model could do with some aditional light imo. try playing around with different setups, maybe a flood light on the roof of the bunker (pointed on the mech. which wouldn't make much sense during a day shot... but would add nice detail to the roof) or put a nice warm light source in the bunker (which would make the mech stand out a bit more too, I'd got for that).

the roof of the bunker could use some more detail I think, try putting some geo based stuff on there. like the others said, a radio antenna would be cool, maybe have the reciever electronics in a box right next to it, a handful of cables running to it over the roof (if your uvs allow for that).

can you render it without the black background please the normal map seems pretty solid but with the diffuse attached and the bg you cant really see the details on the textured model.

Thanks for your comments guys.
Im just trying to get a good ground texture without making it look low res and horrible... i think i may need to redo the skin or re arrange the uvs to bring out more detail in the model :S
