Indeed I was using the delete, but pressing the backspace does nothing, the mesh remains equal.
Just to set it straigth. I go to on the modifier list and select edictable mesh. Then on selection choose edge. Select some edges like the ones you showed me, just those in a line not all. And finally press backspace. I get nothing... |

editable mesh is somehow outdated and i believe they just keep it for compatibility reasons and probabaly for some performance reasons. but when it comes to modelling you should use editable poly coz it has way more and better modelling tools.
and those are the things why i don´t use max for modelling anymore... it just feels like an old dinosaur compared to other apps. |
