yeah, basically, the base is just a ramp for vehicles to drive up on. The middle confusing part there is just a cut and paste from an orioles scoreboard image to get a feel for the look I wanted. So in actuality, I would not have a display for baseball players but rather perhaps the current weapon being served at that point for aircraft to see better, or something that allows scrolling text or an animation or who knows.... just an idea.

Latest update
I've worked on this a bit more now, it's not finished since i've been on vacation for the last 2 weeks but I guess I'll submit what I have, it certainly not a winner, but I've learned allot so far so thats all im looking for. I didnt have time to add a background or a special effect... or a rack to hold the missiles together :/ btw - first comp ![]() ![]() |

Real shame that you didn't finish this piece m8, because it realy has quality. I realy like the latest update you did on the base, which pushes it to the next level. Do finish this piece, it'll look good in a port folio...

I'm not sure it's worth going through the effort to learn all about Maya's particle stuff; none of that can go in a game engine, so it's just a waste of time when it comes to game art.

There is no particles generator in game engines? I guess not everyone have a particle system, but I'm sure some of them can handle particles (maybe not the ones created in maya).
