Competition #10 - Mist

Just wanted to reserve my spot. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet but I'll do some brainstorming and hopefully start on something tommorow.

This could either be a full health regen for any human in a first person shooter, or it could be a health pickup for a zombie. there will be more than just a heart too.

I like the hart idea but what I would really like to see wold be a hart (that is still beating) impaled in a spear

Hehe, well, im going for a sci fi, very gritty, hardcore survival game (perhaps zombie). This pickup will regenorate some one who is very close to death, or who has been bitten by a zombie, as it will restore them giving them normal blood.

Basically its ment to be a very make shift (quickly put together with some spare parts) health pack. A battery pack is taped onto a canister with a heart inside. The battery keeps the heart going by sending electricity to the heart via 2 crocodile clips attached to the hearts pipes.

here is the mid poly at about 1672 (it will be optomised to make the low poly and detail added to make the high poly)

its still very much WIP.

very nice up to this point, you say your going for a zombie type look, so just a suggestion for the final texture, you should add like a bloody handprint on the glass part, i will be watching this thread super closely, nice job

hehe thanks andy. I hadnt thought of that but i might just do it and see how it looks. The texture will be quite gritty with painted metal, some of the paint peeling/scratched off and some of the metal rusted. Water damage, dirt and grime on the glass and maybe even some fractures.. and of course some blood marks :P
