Thanks everyone, it was a fun competition
![]() But, I guess I would have been down somewhere in the bottom of everything if more would have joined in ![]() oh, and thanks for the crits Glynn. I will try to get a stronger normal instead of diffuse next time. Also, I guess it kinda came out a bit plastic maybe? /edit: please forgive my keyboard, it seems it sometimes miss out on letters... so had to fix that ![]()

Anytime. The thing with normals and spec is that they kind of go hand in hand. So if you're going to try for some awesome normals, make sure you have some adequate spec on there to show off surface variations (so long as the surface needs spec, of course ).I'd say you nailed the marble-tiled floor for my tastes and your entry on the whole was really well done. Just as a suggestion to the admins: when you announce winners in a thread like this can you either link to the winners threads or include some renders of the winning pieces? It's kind of a pain to have to search for them yourself. Just a minor complaint, but something that will go a long way I think.
