Alright first post. Here is my base model for a device. My first idea was for it to be inset in a wallet, but after seeing Zortech's design (and staring in amazement) I may try something else. Right now the poly count is 488.

Lookin cool,

Maybe this will help you: A hacking device is something you carry with you. When you carry alot of thing with you the size of it matters. so try to get rid of all the material that is not used for your device.

think about it, good luck.

Judging from the above it looks like it's a wallet that folds up, so it is saving good space imho.

Great start BInaryHylo, look forward to the texture !

Xadeko and Requiem2d thanks for both of your replies.

I did decide to go with a wallet, so it will fold up to a smaller size. I'm working on the texture now. Right now, I'm working on the buttons, cash, and the texture on the back. Here's what it looks like so far.

Not too many big changes. I fixed up the cash so it doesn't look as distorted and added some detail to the buttons. Still making small changes, but it's going well.

Nice modelling and texturing so far. The leather part, dollar note and keypad look pretty good. As for the cash, I don't know how large such a dollar note is, but it appears pretty tall compared to the rest i.E. buttons.

The displays could use some more contrast and defined structures. You could try add scanlines and define a lighting like this: http://www.te-elektronik.com/bilder/...true-green.jpg

Keep it up, still got a few days.

Welcome to the forums. Nice idea with the fold up hacking device. I agree that the notes look a little too long though
