One thing I'm going to suggest though is perhaps expanding the warehouse, especially the back (the side opposite the opening). With it being quite a simple shape by expanding the back you have a lot more room to do interesting things with, as you can see in one of your references the back has some sort of equipment at the back but as well as that you could have
derelict storage shelves around there.
Also I think you really need some different contrast in the lighting, one more simple method would be to have some
burning oil drums. Although for something a bit more interesting I would think of having perhaps a raised office area with perhaps a green light running inside (But that really depends on your camera angle).
Where abouts is this warehouse? And what did it store?
