Just updated to v1.0, with shadows, fixed specular (thanks to rob at tech-artists.org) and linear correct settings. There's a version without shadows for people with Max 9 or lower.
Talon: as cool as SSS might be, I think it's beyond the scope of this thing. It would require so much more code and generally just do away with my idea of making this clean & streamlined. The character I shaded with the shader looks pretty good without SSS anyway.
But maybe if people really want that, I could go and try to fix JI style's SSS skinshader to work with Max again, since that one has errors now.
Thanez: that looks awesome, keep posting stuff like this! Btw you're using a bloom post shader ?
Sover: rimlight, sure, but bloom can't be done in a material like this, you have to use the Max Scene Effect Loader for that.
