This is just a tad off-topic, but has anyone else run into problems using 3DS Max 9 with Windows Vista 32bit where you can't use Ctrl-D to detach edge verts and can't use Ctrl-W for weld selected?
If I use Tools from the file menu, it works fine, but the short-cuts don't do anything.

I'm on winXP Home 32... 3ds Max 2009... I've had the shortcuts in the edit uvw dialog quit working as well - the menu commands work fine - but not the keyboard shorties. weird - slows me down a tad - but the unwrap tools (i think cause this) MORE than compensate with the ease of uv manipulation.
i haven't tried the unwrap tools 1.5 but will this evening
