Jearbear - Sorry for the nickname, I have always called you this in secretness. I pondered the idea of making a sketchbook for many days now, and so I did, yay for accomplishments being achieved.

TBH, it's always the simple things that plague me, thanks for bringing that up(smaller projects), because when it comes to modeling, it's on my own freewill (God help anyone that wants me to model for their project) and I usually get all these crazy ideas gaumed up in my head, some of them are more advanced than for me.

Bun - Thinking of the title I lol'd myself. Digital art is complicated for me, because I come from a background in the land of prismacolor markers, ink and acrylic paint, seriously we didn't realize there were computers here in Kentucky 'til at least 2004 when our phone company (which we got in 2001) asked us if we wanted dial up, and we were like 'For what'?

Jokes, jokes. But I do live in place where technology is the devil.

Back to the conversation; I know a bit, working with a few game teams and mod teams I've come to terms with creating what's capable with normal, bump and parallax mapping, what can get a good effect with a low poly model. I've worked with plenty modelers and done many of maps in my day, it's just the whole process of pushing poly's that gets me.

Edit -- I should say I know enough that when I'm making concept art to not create some insane idea with complex geometry, I know what needs to be functional with the modeler and what tools he's using.
