Character Polygon Budget for Modern MMORPGs?
It is kinda hard to find some good information on this or at least I haven't found out where to look.
How many polygons is acceptable for a mmorpg game character in a Direct X 9 game engine?
I used the WoW model viewer the models there are around 1000 - 1500 tris. However, they tried to make a game that runs even on dishwashers.
Other game characters i see have 8000-10000 tris and that seems way to much for me. Whats your opinion?
