Yes it's a slow server here as well. I mean the popping up and sliding open thing lightbox does, plus only showing the image when fully loaded being annoying.
Anyway a friend offered me to custom code a PHP gallery thing since he says it's really simple what I want. That is even better than using some pre-made solution that would be bloated in comparison.
