Hmm, I agree there is too much text. I'll take care of that, as well as the overkill amount of pictures. I am going for a general showcase of work, so i do not believe I should throw out all of my web dev work, for example. just for the sake of narrowing down my scope. I'm hoping to get hired to a place where I can apply more than just what is in my job description, so if i have a strong 3d modeling portfolio in the future, for example, but they also see that I can do xyz, you think it would hinder my chances of getting that job?

Also for the resume, would you have specific suggestions on what info on there isn't relevant anymore or is excess? I'm looking to cut but not sure what to cut. I know its easier from the outside looking in to figure out whats good and whats unnecessary.
