Hello everyone! At last I have a little time to begin my entry to this contest, It's really impressive to see so many good ideas, all are very interesting, good luck to all!
My idea is on a beetle robot, which serves to protect installations as headquarters or factories (well... you know,
termite nests,
ant nest, honeycombs...
). Manufactured with a very strong shield, its main function is to lay mines, small but with a high explosive power. It can be equipped with different types of mines in order to be effective in every situation (sticky bombs, antitank mines, incendiary shells, even EMP grenades...). A mortar installed at the top of the beetle allows to extend its attack range. Another advantage to this unit that counts is the ability to self-destruct when it is discovered and it can be used as a demolition device causing considerable damage to buildings by taking the Kamikaze strategy. This unit is among the best soldiers: No complaints and no doubts. Just a plenty of ammo under a heavy armor.
I chose the
Potosia cuprea obscura due its body shape, robust and compact. Its metallic appearance inspired me to create this robot. I hope you like it. Well... I have a few days, let's work!
