Hello all-
This is my first post and my first speed texturing challenge. It was a good challenge and I was very happy with the results I achieved. I will say that 2 hours was a real challenge and in the end it took me a lot longer than 2 hours. :P I dont know if that disqualifies me or what, but it was fun and I thought I should post my results anyway. I will explain my process. BTW, I tried recording and it lagged my computer to hell and the first hour didnt even render.

I may need a new screen capture program.
First I created the diffuse going back and forth from Maya and Photoshop for placement. One that was done I found some references for skin and the glove to use. I actually based the look of the glove from some workout gloves I have. The texture is totally handpainted and created in photoshop from looking at references. After that I used the diffuse to create the bump and specular and after a number of render tests. I set up some lights and did a couple renders and layered an ambient occlusion render over it in Photoshop to add some shadow and depth. And wala! It might sound like a fast process but it was very tedious and long. Especially with programs crashing and computers heating up and the usual crapola. Anyways, I hope you like my entry. I had tons of fun. Critiques and comments Welcomed.
Thank you
