I work in a local gaming company(mobile/flash/online) here in India
all the work is done in pixels and 2d soo there is less of image and size restrictions also the application are less than 1mb so you can understand how small these games turn out to be.

Anyways my actual point is
How much of polygon does a 3d game require
PC game,Console,Handheld
(RTS,FPS,Action-Adv.)

for a mobile phone the max count for a character is 150 polygon which is verywell done here in my company.
