I tried the PC version, it didn't work... all i see is a lot of black and some textures here and there. I installed the fix that comes with it thinking it would fix it but my computer kept restarting at login... had to do a system restore
I still want to play it but I don't think I'll risk installing anything else that will keep me busy for a day
Anybody knows how I can fix this?
EDIT: Forgot that I have AMD at home not at work... so no need for that fix
Any idea why this game isn't working on a Pentium D 3.2GHz & 3.25GHz with 1.5GB RAM and ATI Radeon x850?
I have the latest driver from ATI, the one releast on aug 13th.
All I see are some smoke/water/fire sprites/textures... the rest is all black.
EDIT: Nevermind... I've been reading the
Technical Support thread at the BioShock forums... well actually it's just Technical, no support... they don't replay. It looks like this demo has an Issue with the X850 (no textures, no cursor)... some other cards have this as well... all ATI. I hope they fix it, I'm looking forward to give this a try
