thanks for the article! it has helped me some. i turn off my messengers and the need to go and constantly check them to see who is on was gone and that left over focus was put towards my modeling. most of the time i work with music playing, but sometimes i just need to shut it off. i dont think i could unplug my internet like jake suggested because im always poking around on the net trying to find reference images/textures/tutorials etc.
