Agreed about the panel edges though I want to keep the edges really tight. I love the edges and am getting the look I want out of the corner in the high poly but I don't know how its going to translate to the normal map. Going to do some further experiments and render some normal maps with some test cubes to see what results I get for corners.
Did some experiments last night with edge creasing. I did slight bevel then prep for sub d refine once and then uncrease and sub d again. Was getting some really nice and tight smooth bevels last night in testing.
