Ah good idea, at first I was like...wa? Then I saw the test, and it all came together and I realized the idea could go somewhere!
The only thing I can crit with the work wip still is, I don't think the rocks would be coming around over the supports. The left top side of the braces look like they are buried under sand, I would try to make it a little more like the top right side where it feels like it is embedded in the rocks. It's still early so you might of already noticed this, just figured I say it anyway.
