Hi everyone. I wanted to throw in some screenshots of an environment I am working on for a game my team is making called Necronom: The Scourge. Most of the assets were custom sculpted in ZBrush, but there are several unsculpted elements where I tried to reuse tileable texture. So there is a mix in there. I used Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop to create all the assets, and the scene is built in UDK. Comments and critiques are welcome! Especially if you have specific areas where you think I could improve.
Also, a quick note, as you can tell by the statue, I've got a mix of Mayan and Giger influence going on for the general scope of the entire project. In the game, the main antagonists are a Giger inspired race called The Scourge, so their "corruption" appears throughout the levels. The statue specifically is there to allude to the fact that the ancients who built these temples were aware of these Scourge creatures and the fact that they had the ability to assimilate humans into their race.
