Thanks for the kind words gang, it's been fun getting back into it. Been doing level work too much, it's been a fresh breath of air getting back to basics.

My process is a bit muddled at the moment since I'm really just trying to figure it out. I used to sketch everything out on paper, then ink over it with pen and erase the pencil, scan it in then color it. Yet for these I just wacom'd em with a solid brush and the eraser.

Oh ya, photo ref for sure. I wish I could bust these out from memory, but Michelangelo I am not. (The guy, not the turtle, although I'd be down with being a ninja reptile.
