You guys have a fair point. The plugs are posted mostly by the editors and forum leaders on CGTalk and when they post them they have the option to post to CGTalk, Game-Artist or both sites. Sometimes the forums leaders mistakenly plug non-game art related stuff on both sites. I'll have a chat to them and make sure that they only post game-art related stuff onto this site. Trust me when I say that there is no malice here, and no one is trying to actively ruin this site by posted non-related stuff here. Its a simple misunderstanding.

Part of the problem is that we're still severely understaffed here at GA, as there are currently only three active forum leaders, which makes it difficult to get the material on here the attention it deserves.

This is your community. If you guys have any suggestions on how you would like the site to run then we'd be more than happy to hear them. You can help out by letting the admins know if you see a notable thread on these forums that you think deserves a plug, and one of us will make sure it gets put up.
